Kevin & Jess; The Barn at Dunn Farm; Berwick, ME

I’m not even sure I can write a blog about how absolutely amazing this day was. I think when a friend and fellow photographer asks you to be their wedding photographer, it might be the highest (and stressful) compliment ever! But how could I pass up the opportunity to share this day with my friend?! I love Jess, I love her work, I love her joy, I love her presence. When she talks about Kev and her kids, you can feel the joy radiate off of her. Since Jess booked me as a photographer, we have worked together many times. We’ve talked about this day MANY times. It felt like it took so long to get here and no time at all to get here too. Every detail was thought out. She had a vision, and I was of course nervous if I could capture it for her, I also wanted to make sure that she could relax and be a bride! I am completely obsessed with Kevin and Jess’ day. I cried… a lot. Then I cried again editing and I was also choked up today blogging this lol. They deserved this day, they were surrounded by an amazing crew and so much love. And their beautiful children!! My heart will never recover from Jess and her son Zak’s 1st dance. Kevin and Jess balance each other so well, their vows were heartfelt and filled with love and so much pride, a beautiful summary of everything they have been through with each other throughout the years. I am so happy to have been able to be there to witness this gorgeous day! Thank you for choosing me Jess and Kev, I love y’all! Here are some of my favorites from the best day ever…
