Nate & Briana; A Romantic Rainy Day Cape Cod Engagement Session

We had planned Briana and Nate engagement session about three months in advance. They were just about to move back home to New England from CA and were making the trip across the country with their pup Harold so we knew we better get something on the calendar when we had the chance! When we were planning they mentioned that Nate’s family had a house on the Cape and, that they had grown up spending summers there together. They thought it would be a perfect place to have their engagement session! I absolutely love when couples choose a favorite spot that really means something to them for their session. I loved seeing a little piece of their love story and capturing them in a place that is close to their heart. Of course I was watching the radar from NH and the weather didn’t look great but… Bri and Nate started to love the idea of a rainy day session and, like I said we had this on the calendar for months! So we did the session in the rain and it was gorgeous! They had string lights left over from an event and they added a little something special to the yard on a dreary day. Another highlight… Harold! Oh my heart he is SO adorable! And he dressed for the weather in his raincoat! I absolutely loved this session, and I can’t wait to celebrate with Bri, Nate and Harold next year at one of my favorite venues! Enjoy a few of my favorites from this romantic rainy day session…
