David & Catherine; A Hometown Wedding
What a perfect day for these two high school sweethearts! Early August weddings are known to be a little hot. Cathrine and David’s day was no exception. It was a warm summer day for a beautiful intimate wedding! David and Catherine were married in the church where they first met. Although a small intimate wedding was not the original plan, getting married in their childhood church was always part of the plan and I would say, it was meant to be. With the bride and groom both getting ready at their childhood homes surrounded by their parents and siblings the day started with love and laughter and a sense of calm before heading to the church. I have to be honest, I LOVE it when couples get ready at their childhood homes. It’s a special personal touch you don’t see often and helps give everyone a feeling of comfort that is so nice to have before all of the commotion of your wedding day begins. After the ceremony, we headed to the town square where they had many photos taken growing up, then off to Catherine’s parents house to celebrate outside socially distanced style with Chipotle, sweet toasts from siblings and the best first dances in right in the driveway! Last but certainly not least we made our way to Old Stone Church in West Boylston. What a gorgeous spot! It complimented this classic couple so well. When I think of a classic couple, I think of Catherine and David. They fit together so well, so comfortably, like they were truly meant to be. Here are some of my favorites from their big day!
